Section 1: Retail Terms and Conditions of Sale (B2C)
These terms apply to consumers purchasing goods for personal use from colinwoodonline.com.
1. Pricing and Payment
All retail prices displayed on our website are inclusive of standard UK VAT. Full payment is required at the time of order.
2. Pre-Orders and Lead Times
We offer exclusive, handcrafted wooden items that are sometimes available on a “Pre-Order” basis.
If an item is a pre-order, it means it is securing your allocation from our incoming international shipment.
We will provide an estimated delivery window, but please be aware that international freight can occasionally face port or customs delays outside of our control.
3. Consumer Right to Cancel (14-Day Returns)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the legal right to cancel your order and return your items within 14 days of receiving them, for any reason.
Condition of Return: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a fully resalable condition.
Return Shipping Costs: The customer is entirely responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. Please note this includes large, bulky items such as Teak Benches and large Crate Sets.
4. Damaged or Faulty Goods
We inspect all our wooden wares before dispatch. However, if your item arrives damaged or develops a fault:

If the item is confirmed faulty or damaged in transit, we will offer a full refund or a replacement, and we will cover the return shipping costs.
Please note: Our products are handcrafted from natural wood. Variations in wood grain, rustic stenciling, and minor natural imperfections are part of the design and do not constitute a “fault.”
5. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your items.
Please ensure you provide a safe, accessible delivery location for larger items.
Section 2: Trade Terms and Conditions (B2B)
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by registered trade customers. By registering for a trade account and placing an order, you agree to the following terms.
1. Trade-Only Status
Colinwood Wholesale Ltd operates strictly as a business-to-business (B2B) supplier. By applying for a wholesale account, you confirm that you are purchasing goods for the purpose of resale or business use. We reserve the right to revoke account access if we find a user is not a legitimate trading business.
2. Pricing and VAT
All our prices are strictly for wholesale buyers. As a UK VAT-registered business, VAT is calculated and applied to your orders at the standard rate. We reserve the right to adjust wholesale pricing in response to international shipping and container freight costs.
3. Pre-Orders and Lead Times
Because our premium wood products are manufactured and imported via shipping containers, some highly sought-after items may be available on a “Pre-Order” basis.
Pre-orders secure your allocation from our next incoming container.
While we strive for accuracy, international shipping is subject to port and customs delays. We will communicate any significant delays to container arrivals as soon as possible.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Dispatch: In-stock items are typically dispatched within 2-3 working days.
Bulky Items: Large items, such as Teak Benches and large crate sets, may require specialized or pallet delivery.
Delivery Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order.
5. Damages and Shortages
Because you are purchasing at wholesale, business-to-business rates, we do not offer standard consumer “change of mind” returns.
All goods must be inspected immediately upon delivery.
Any breakages, damages in transit, or missing items must be reported to us in writing at HELLO@COLINWOODONLINE.COM within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by photographic evidence.
Approved claims will be resolved via a credit note or replacement stock on your next order.
